When to Visit: All year round, Nov-Mar offers the most comfortable weather and a chance to witness Ganga Mahotsav or Dev Deepawali.

Ram Mandir

Location: Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh

Main Deity: Lord Rama (epitome of dharma and protector of devotees)

Why Visit:

  • Sacred birthplace of Lord Rama
  • Newly consecrated temple (2024) featuring stunning architecture blending traditional Nagara style with modern grandeur

When to Visit: All year round, with Oct-Mar providing the most pleasant weather. Ram Navami (March-April) is especially auspicious.

Tirupati

Location: Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh

Main Deity: Lord Venkateswara (bestower of wealth and wishes)

Why Visit:

  • One of the richest and most visited temples in the world
  • Believed to fulfill sincere wishes and bring prosperity
  • Home to the famous Laddu prasadam and unique rituals like tonsuring (hair offering)
  • Divine energy and breathtaking architecture atop the Tirumala hills

When to Visit: All year round but best experienced during early winter (Oct-Jan) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds on weekdays.

Kukke Subramanya

Location: Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka

Main Deity: Lord Subramanya (protector from serpent doshas)

Why Visit:

  • Powerful rituals to alleviate Sarpa Dosha and ancestral afflictions
  • Lush green surroundings near the Kumaradhara river and Western Ghats
  • Ideal for spiritual seekers seeking inner cleansing and peace

When to Visit: Aug-Feb is ideal, especially during Shasti and Ashlesha Nakshatra days. Best to avoid during monsoon season.
